  • Juniperus horizontalis 'Icee Blue' is one of the best prostrate conifers introduced in recent years. This well branched Creeping Juniper quickly forms a carpet of silvery-blue evergreen foliage that turns to plummy-bronze shades during the coldest winters. Reaching just 15cm (6") tall but with a spread of 2m (6'5"), this exceptional shrub is perfect for creating evergreen groundcover.   • Thuja Orientalis Aurea Nana is a dwarf, low-growing conifer with many names. These include Dwarf Golden Oriental Thuja and Platycladus Orientalis Aurea Nana and Thuja orientalis Miller's Gold. It is an attractive, hardy evergreen conifer tree with golden yellow foliage turning old-gold in the winter.This little conifer isn't too picky about soil and will grow in neutral or slightly acidic conditions. The soil of the planting site should be well-draining because the shrub does not tolerate waterlogged roots. For best growth results, keep the Aurea Nana moist but not overly saturated.
