Has to be eaten to be believed.Suitable For Freezing"Sow seeds from March to June every 10 days for succession in flat bottomed drills 5cm (2in) deep, 15cm (6in) wide spacing the seeds roughly 5cm (2in) apart. Allow 90cm (36in) between rows.When 7.5-1cm (3-4in) tall provide twiggy sticks for support. Watering when in flower will improve the crop. The peas are ready to pick around 14 weeks from the sowing date.Regular picking will improve cropping. -
A multi-purpose Italian speciality, either for fresh young pods as flageolets (semi-mature pods with succulent seeds) or more usually as haricots (full mature pods with ripe seeds). Spectacular, flattish, pale green pods are heavily splashed with reddish streaks which disappear on cooking.Sow seed 4cm (1½ in) deep in 7.5cm (3 in) pots or trays of good seed compost. Place in a propagator or sealed container inside a polythene bag and place at 18-21C (65-70F) until after germination which takes 7-10 days. Can also be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed sufficiently. Sow in 15cm (6in) apart, 4cm (1½ in) deep.Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for a few days before planting out after all risk of frost has passed. Grow as for Runner Beans and support with canes or netting.Hoe regularly and keep well watered, especially when flowering. Mulch during dry periods. -

A balanced organic feed that provides the nutrients that are vital for vigorous growth and bright flowers. Supplied in pelleted form, it is easy to handle and apply, and is suitable for Clematis and other climbing plants.For established plants it should be applied in March and then every three months during the growing season. For new planting, the fertiliser should be spread around the base of the plant. -
Ideal for sowing during the autumn months, this mixture will have no problem surviving the cold months of winter, and will spring to action by April, producing blooms through to July. The first colours to appear are the Siberian wallflower and Californian poppy. Silene then adds a touch of pink and forget-me-nots later add a touch of blue, finishing with the warmer tones of coreopsis, dianthus, delphiniums, echinacea and rudbeckia.Simply open the box, scatter the seeds where you want them to grow, cover and wait for a spectacular display!Height 30-100cm (12-39in).
