Vitax SBK Brushwood Killer is a selective weedkiller for brambles, nettles, dock, woody weeds, hardwood saplings and tree stumps in grass and other neglected non-crop areas. It does not kill grass.Its active ingredient is triclopyr, which is unusually effective on woody plants and is used for brush control in rights of way and defoliation of wooded areas. It is also effective against broadleaf weeds, particularly Creeping Charlie.Apply from May to October (June to August for woody weeds) when the soil is moist and weeds are actively growing. It is especially useful for lime hating plants and can also be used two to three times per year to help ‘green-up’ lawns and toughen turf without encouraging excessive growth.In the garden, it should be applied as a drench using a watering can or as a foliar treatment ujsing a fine sprayer or hose end dilutor and thoroughly wetting the leaves. Acid-loving plants can be treated once a fortnight throughout the growing season. -

Ready-to-use spray in a trigger operated container which can be used to deter animals from fouling any area of the garden.The spray contains aluminium ammonium sulphate which confuses an animal’s sense of taste and smell. Scent Off 2 works by confusing the animal’s sense of taste and smell and ensures they stay off the area you wish to protect.For best results when using Scent Off 2 it is important that all animal droppings and smells are removed prior to applications. Animal smells can be broken down by treating the area with a weak biological detergent.Scatter the Scent Off 2 product of choice around the area to be protected at the rates recommended on the pack and repeat the application a week later. This level of application will provide up to four weeks protection.Scent Off 2 is safe to use in areas where children play.Scent Off 2 products should only be used on paths, driveways and turf. Avoid application to herbaceous plants. -
These water absorbent crystals retain and release moisture, acting as a reservoir for plant roots. A two-in-one product, they also contain a controlled release fertiliser to feed plants for up to four months. They are ideal for hanging baskets and planters, and can be mixed with the compost at planting time. -

It is particularly beneficial to tomatoes.It can be used throughout the growing season by applying evenly and hoeing or forking in to the top surface of the soil. When dry, it should be watered in for maximum benefits.
