Forms a low mound of much branched stems clothed in small deep green leaves setting off a constant display of light violet-blue flowers from early summer to autumn. Common name, Slender Vervain, is a low-growing perennial species that produces an abundance of punchy purple flowers from summer and into autumn. Its lax growing habit makes it ideal for planting in great swathes and softening the edges of borders.Sunlight: This plant receives full sun in its natural habitat. It can handle part shade, but greater sun exposure leads to a better growth rate. The tuberous vervain is drought-tolerant, but it does best when situated in moist soil.Plant Type: Perennial, DeciduousGarden care: In cold conditions Verbena bonariensis can suffer dieback if cut back in autumn, so it's best to leave the plant until spring and cut back the old growth when you see the new shoots emerging at the base.Sold in a 1 litre pot. -

Mountain Breeze forms a dense mat of evergreen foliage then in late spring, a mass of delightful pale blue flowers appear over many weeks. Very hardy and perennial. Veronica Gentianoides 'Tissington White' was introduced from Derbyshire in 1991. This form has large mid green leaves and the individual florets nearly twice the size of any other variety. It is very pale blue- almost white - with dark blue anthers and blue veining to the petals.Position: Full sun, partial shadeSoil: Almost any soil.Flowers: June, July, August (can flower earlier if grown in a greenhouse)Picture Image is showing when plant is in flower.Keep your flowers blooming longer with a bit of deadheading. Remove the flower stems of as the blooms begin to fade. Use a pruner or sharp garden scissors and cut just above the first set of leaves or above the side shoots where new flower buds are forming.Sold in a 2 litre pot.
