  • The Apple Maggot adult is a fly that lays its eggs in the flesh of apples. The resultant larvae feed on the flesh of fruit while it hangs on the tree, causing the fruit to bruise and decay and finally drop before ripening.The Vitax Apple Maggot Trap contains a pheromone lure which attracts the adult males. Glued inserts prevent escape.Each trap, made from strong corrugated material, will protect 3 to 5 trees for the entire season.Each pack contains one trap, two glued inserts, a hanger and two pheromone lures.(Refills are available.)

  • Buxus Feed contains vital plant foods and trace elements for good establishment and strong healthy growth of buxus. The fertiliser provides an extended nitrogen release to ensure nutrients are available as the plants grow. Buxus is best planted in Autumn or Spring. The ground should be cultivated to a good spades depth for best results. For individual 15-20cm (6-8 inches) containers or bare rooted stock, take 60g (2 oz) of buxus feed and sprinkle part of it into the bottom of the planting hole and lightly fork in.For hedge planting use 60-120g of Buxus Feed per linear metre of planting trench.
