  • Full Description: Syn: -x yedoensis 'Shidare Yoshino'Common name: Weeping Yoshino Cherry tree.A small tree with steeply pendent branches weeping to the ground. Seasons of interest: Spring, Autumn.Blossom: Covered with dense clouds of single White/blush flowers in spring.Foliage: After floweing, bronze new leaves, green in summer, fiery shades in autumn, leaf fall in winter.Prunus Growing Tips: Best grown in moist, well-drained soil, in full sun to achieve the best flower display and autumn colour.   • Carpinus or Hornbeam are native, attractive and easily grown trees. Suitable for heavy, wet, or chalky soils.Has a variety of uses including hedging, topiary and pleaching. The trunk is grey fluted with ovate and serrated, ribbed leaves turning yellow in autumn and later turning brown. Green catkins open in late spring followed by clusters of winged nuts in the autumn.
