  • Clematis montana Rubens is a very vigorous deciduous variety of spring blooming Clematis that will produce satin pink flowers with a sweet scent. These are produced from late April in mild years through to early summer. Each soft pink bloom has a light green and yellow heart, and they are produced en-mass to cover the entire vine. The young foliage has bronze shades and matures to light green.Clematis montana look beautiful when used to cover substantial buildings or sturdy fences, telegraph poles, or even old tree trunks.
