An alternative, pesticide-free method, of dealing with winter moths on fruit trees. Female winter moths are wingless and have to climb trees to await the arrival of the winged males before mating. Vitax Tree Bands are treated with a non-drying adhesive and fit around the trunk of the tree, forming an impenetrable barrier for the female moths and other climbing insects. The result is no mating, no larvae and no damage.

The traditional, proven treatment against powdery mildew on many fruit and vegetable and flowering plants, including gooseberry, chrysanthemum, cineraria, cucumber, delphinium, ornamental hop, hyacinth, marrow, pea, rose and strawberry.
