It is tough, fully hardy and evergreen with pretty mauve-purple flowers produced from Spring through to Autumn, once established it will need next to no attention. A particularly tolerant plant, it will be happy in shade or sun, with deep green foliage carpeting the ground.The new growth each spring is bright green and at this point the plants become covered in masses of very pretty star-like flowers, these continue to appear sporadically throughout spring and summer and in to autumn. Veronica Gentianoides 'Tissington White' was introduced from Derbyshire in 1991. This form has large mid green leaves and the individual florets nearly twice the size of any other variety. It is very pale blue- almost white - with dark blue anthers and blue veining to the petals.Position: Full sun, partial shadeSoil: Almost any soil.Flowers: June, July, August (can flower earlier if grown in a greenhouse)Picture Image is showing when plant is in flower.Keep your flowers blooming longer with a bit of deadheading. Remove the flower stems of as the blooms begin to fade.
