  • Camellia are evergreen shrubs with simple, ovate, glossy, leathery leaves and showy flowers with solitary or clustered flowers early in the year March to April.'The name is slightly deceptive as the larger, outer petals that form are white. They do however have a ruff of pale yellow petals at the centre of each flower that give it a lemon hue.   • This is a gorgeous, deciduous, ornamental grass with rich yellow leaves, edged in green. It's useful for brightening shady areas, for filling gaps in borders and planting by water, where the fine leaves contrast brilliantly with larger leaved plants. In early summer, it throws up long spikes with brown, feathery flowers.   • Carpinus or Hornbeam are native, attractive and easily grown trees. Suitable for heavy, wet, or chalky soils.Has a variety of uses including hedging, topiary and pleaching. The trunk is grey fluted with ovate and serrated, ribbed leaves turning yellow in autumn and later turning brown. Green catkins open in late spring followed by clusters of winged nuts in the autumn.   • Cephalotaxus Harringtonia Fastigiata, also known as the Japanese Plum Yew, is an excellent landscaping specimen. Its columnar habit and attractive evergreen foliage make it particularly versatile in a variety of garden situations.The genus Cephalotaxus includes evergreen, coniferous shrubs and small trees grown for foliage that resembles yews. Female plants also have small, plum-like fruit when planted near a male pollinator. Plum yews are especially useful because they grow in shade. Plant as hedging, in foundation plantings, or as specimens. Choose a sheltered site with fertile, moist but well-drained soil in partial shade. They can take full sun in cool, damp areas.Sold in a 5 litre pot.
