Boxwood has more than 70 species and the common boxwood is the most popular. This is highly used as an ornamental plant and is grown and shaped into a variety of designs. With care this species can be kept indoors. Mist spraying and a cool room are recommended. If cool environments such as shaded porches, conservatories and sun rooms can be provided, they likelihood of success is increased.
