PLANTS

  • Give the gift that keeps on giving - an ideal Birthday, Anniversary or special occasion gift that will last longer than cut flowers! This plant is sensitive to temperature changes. This plant is sensitive to over watering. Too much water in the pot can restrict the oxygen flow to the roots, causing damage to the plant.
  • This rare and sought-after established Oxalis Triangularis plant has gorgeous distinctive purple leaves that will close at night and open again in the morning.Your Oxalis prefers a humid environment, use a humidifier or mist often if the air is dry. Your Oxalis prefers normal room temperatures between 65-75. They cannot tolerate hot temperatures above 75-80 degrees. Feed your Oxalis once a month during spring and summer with an all-purpose houseplant fertilizer.
  • Charming little spreading plant that looks incredible as a filler in a terrarium or cascading down a pot into the air or across a surface. Small delicate turquoise leaves on a reddish stem that grow quickly in summer and are incredibly easy. It's called the Artillery Plant for a reason; when watered, the stamens of the unremarkable flowers will sometimes burst open and eject pollen into the air like a howitzer.
  • Sansevieria is a tough, hardy snake plant. The long sword-like leaves are dark green with wavy lighter green bands. They have rather a rugged, shabby-chic appearance often with rough, brown edges. Some minor leaf cracking is also common. This Sasevieriana is not as common as Sansevieria trifasciata, but it is just as bullet-proof and just as stunning. Easy care, shade loving, hard to kill, air-purifying.Please note that the image is for reference only.
  • Sansevierias are the perfect houseplants, given they don't require a lot of water. They will grow best in bright, filtered light. Furthermore, they will also tolerate partial light conditions, so if they are in a darker corner in our home, you don't need to worry too much.Sansevieria is known for it's ability to purify the air. It is very good at absorbing toxins such as nitrogen oxides and improving indoor air quality.
  • This decorative and cylindrical Sansevieria, also referred to as the Snake Plant, is a favourite for many homes. Displaying a collection of lengthy, and satisfyingly straight foliage, this plant has a stunning silhouette, and is hence a wonderful means of adding structure to any setting.Designed to store water in their fronds, these plants require nominal watering, so will be an ideal choice for the less attentive carer of plants. These hardy plants can live for many years, and will therefore become an integral, long-lasting feature to your home.
  • Sedum are best suited for locations that offer a few hours of morning or evening sun, especially in the winter months. Avoid situating yours in deep shade due to the risk of basal rot.Allow the soil's entirety to dry out in between waters and water the plant using the bottom-up method of submersion, for the prevention of rotting foliage (caused by excess moisture above the soil line).Picture image for display purposes. However due to stock levels, we are unable to guarantee that you will receive your preferred choice.
  • The 'flowers' of this new peace lily are much larger than average, and as they appear in good number, they put on a really impressive display. They are held by stout stems, which rise just above the broad deep green foliage, which offers a superb backdrop. Not only do these plants look great, but they also have the added benefit of helping to purify the air. Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a black plastic pot). They do however make excellent potted plants, and if you wish to pot yours up, we do have a wide range of pots on our website to choose from.Position: bright but indirect lightSoil: good potting compostRate of growth: averageHardiness: tender (indoors only)
