Fuchsia Alice Hoffman, commonly known as Lady’s Ear Drops, is a small, upright, deciduous shrub with dark green, tinged bronze / purple leaves. This free flowering fuchsia produces delicate, small, semi-double flowers which have pink tubes and sepals with white corollas veined pink, throughout the summer. This beautiful shrub is deciduous so it will lose all its leaves in autumn, then fresh new foliage appears again each spring.This fast-growing shrub forms a neat and bushy mound that is laden with tutu-like pink and white flowers from June to October. The partridge berry or checkerberry is an excellent choice for containers (when potted up using ericaceous compost), but it also makes a handsome ground-covering plant for a shadier spot. It forms a carpet of thick glossy evergreen foliage, which is covered in early summer with white to pale pink flowers. Gaura's are pretty, deciduous perennials, that look great in cottage garden style or informal plantings. Masses of lavender blue flowers appear starting in May or early June. The flowers are large for a perennial geranium (2cm across) and continue to appear until late October. There is a slight lull in flower production around late June time but in early July it picks up again.It is an amazingly free-flowering cultivar as its flowers are sterile. Leave plenty of room to grow this wide spreading perennial, in one season, one vigorous plant can cover a 2-3 sq.Soil: The Rozanne does not like water-logged soil. Grows in all types of ground from clay to sandy soils.
