  • Juniperus communis 'Goldschatz' is a low growing evergreen coniferous shrub with orange-brown stems bearing aromatic, sharply-pointed, needle-like, golden-yellow to yellow-green leaves.with a ground-hugging habit. A reasonably vigorous variety, it can be expected to put on up to 10cm of growth per year, making it useful for covering unsightly areas, or softening the edges of shrub borders.   • Juniperus horizontalis 'Icee Blue' is one of the best prostrate conifers introduced in recent years. This well branched Creeping Juniper quickly forms a carpet of silvery-blue evergreen foliage that turns to plummy-bronze shades during the coldest winters. Reaching just 15cm (6") tall but with a spread of 2m (6'5"), this exceptional shrub is perfect for creating evergreen groundcover.     This very popular conifer has bright lime/yellow foliage and an upright narrow shape. In summer, its foliage is lemon scented particularly when cut or brushed. It's quite vigorous, growing by 30-60cm per annum and will grow up to 5m in height but is happy to be kept lower. It is good in any free draining soil in sun or partial shade and well suited to coastal positions.This conifer is in a 3 litre pot.
