  • Vitax Clay Breaker is formulated to break up the heaviest clay, making the soil easier to work.Supplied in an easy to handle granular form, it should be applied in the Autumn after roughly digging the affected area. The clay breakdown agent does not damage the soil pH, but makes it much easier to work. Its use also improves drainage and enhances the warmth of the soil to promote earlier crop development.Vitax Clay Breaker can be used in all areas of the garden and can be applied as an Autumn top dressing on lawns. For vegetable and flower beds, apply Clay Breaker before planting or directly on to the beds.The clay breakdown agent will not damage soil pH. Makes soil easier to work, improves drainage and enhances soil warmth for earlier crop growing.
  • A balanced organic feed that provides the nutrients that are vital for vigorous growth and bright flowers. Supplied in pelleted form, it is easy to handle and apply, and is suitable for Clematis and other climbing plants.For established plants it should be applied in March and then every three months during the growing season. For new planting, the fertiliser should be spread around the base of the plant.
  • Epsom Salts provide a rapid cure for magnesium deficiency in plants.Magnesium is vital for the production of chlorophyll, without which plant foliage will turn brown and wither. An early symptom of the problem is a yellowing between the veins on older leaves. Tomatoes and house plants can be particularly susceptible to this deficiency.Vitax Epsom Salts provide a simple and very effective remedy. Apply as soon as the problem is spotted. Either work into the soil as a base dressing or dissolve the salts in water and apply directly to the leaves with a sprayer or watering can.
  • Vitax liquid ericaceous feed is a concentrated feed with chelated iron and menganese to encourage strong, healthy growth and promote flowering of acid loving plants including azalea, camellia and rhododendron. Apply at weekly intervals during the spring and summer to moistened soil around the base of plants or as a foliar spray in the early evening or during dull days. ]1 capful = 20ml. Mix 1 capful in 6 litres of water and apply to the base of the plant to thoroughly soak the roots. Apply the feed every two weeks from March to September.

It can also be used as an Autumn top dressing on lawns.Vitax Garden Lime can be applied to acid soils on an annual basis after September and to normal soils every two to three years. It can also be added to compost when specified in the mix.

  • The combined action of the fertiliser and a weedkiller provides the best of all worlds.The weedkiller kills-off most common lawn weeds and the high nitrogen fertiliser promotes rapid green-up of the lawn and encourages grass growth to cover any bare patches left by dead weeds.Green Up Feed & Weed should be diluted in a watering can and applied via the rose attachment or dribble bar. It can also be applied using a knapsack or other sprayer.For best results do not mow the lawn for three days before and one day after treatment.
