The Podocarpus is a native to China and Japan. Also know as the Chinese Yew or the Buddhist Pine. It is a slow growing evergreen conifer that is easy to care for. With care this species can be kept indoors. Mist spraying and a cool room are recommended.If cool environments such as shaded porches, conservatories and sun rooms can be provided, they likelihood of success is increased. These may be too hot in summer, when the tree should be moved outside.The tree performs very well outside but does need protection in winter.Image for display purposes only. More commonly known as the Golden larch, bonsai pseudolarix is in fact not a true Larch but more closely related to Picea and Cedrus. This striking deciduous Bonsai is pyramid shaped with a broad crown. Prized for it's vibrant foliage which turns a brilliant golden yellow before falling in autumn, the leaves are arranged spirally, widely spaced on long shoots, and in a dense whorl on the short shoots. This Bonsai must be grown outside from March onwards until the hard frost arrives. Comes grown and trained in a glazed ceramic Bonsai planterwithout an underplate as its an outodoor specimen.Pot length 15cm.
