Cherry Laurel is an evergreen shrub or small tree which can grow to 15 metres (50ft) tall, with a stout trunk. The leaves are dark green, leathery, shiny long and broad and have the scent of almonds when crushed. Slower growing than common laurel, it displays shiny, dark green, fairly elongated foliage and in spring bears erect clusters of white flowers and fortunately few black fruits.Sold in a 15 litre pot.
