Also known as the Common Spindle tree. A large deciduous shrub with light green, oval leaves, turning ruby red in autumn. Small, pale green flowers are followed by four lobed, dusky pink fruit that split to reveal orange seeds.Growing Tips: These deciduous and evergreen trees will thrive in almost any soil incuding chalk as long as it’s well-drained.
