Shock Granules 65% provide a convenient method for treating and shock dosing swimming pools. Dose Rate: 18g Shock Granules 65% to 10 cubic metres of pool water. This daily rate is offered as a general guide for private pools. Heavily used pools and those maintained at higher temperatures will require increased dosage. Test for actual requirements by using a poolside test kit – adjusting the dose rate as necessary to maintain a minimum free chlorine level of 1-3ppm or mg/litre. Application: Add Shock Granules 65% into 10 litres of fresh water, using a clean plastic container, and mix carefully. Slowly pour the solution into the pool water close to the return inlet and rinse out the container thoroughly.
